Q: In a nutshell, tell us the about your services and the some of the industries you’ve freelanced for?
A: I have gained a lot of experience with integrated agencies before taking the plunge and going freelance, so I’m lucky enough to have worked on some amazing projects across multiple industries from automotive to sporting, from retail to finance.I have knowledge across brand, manufacture and events so I can work on large scale events to experiential projects, from pitch to delivery, while always keeping the client’s objectives in mind yet pushing their creativity!

Q: How did you get started in the events industry?
A: I began my events career with a company in Leeds who needed someone with a creative background and a knowledge for build which I’d gained in a previous role. Having that at pitch and pre-planning stages allows me to ensure I can deliver the big ideas within budget, on time and looking flawless.

Q: Most memorable moment working as a freelancer?
A: Working as Event Manager recently at the UCI championships in Harrogate we were all wading around site and had wrinkly fingers due to terrible conditions, yet still everybody had a smile on their face and retained their can-do attitude. It just shows how resilient a great team can be, what a pleasure.

Q: Best location you’ve worked at?
A: I was at Pub in the Park Chiswick building the prettiest stand I’ve ever had the pleasure of working on. A stretch tent completely covered in cherry blossoms with picket fencing and bubble tunnels. I was even asked to add a bit more creativity to the entrance of the Chiswick Park and Gardens event which was a great compliment. What a beautiful park and place, a little bit of heaven in Zone 3 and a great place for a summers evening run.

Q: If you could go back in time, what advice would you give yourself when you first started out in the events world?
A: Nothing is impossible.
