Hours: Standard hours are 09:00-17:00 Monday-Friday.
You will be working with a range of studio assistants who generally cover overtime, however due to the nature of the job flexibility in start and end times is required as is occasional weekend cover.

Anomalous Space (A_) is a creative studio, event space and meeting room based in London.
Uniquely located between Angel Islington, Kings Cross, Clerkenwell & Old Street, Anomalous Space is a multi-use environment situated within a converted Georgian town house. Boasting original Art Deco features and contemporary technology we seamlessly blend comfort and innovation. Anomalous Space consists of A_SPACE a 1000 sqft 80-100 person capacity multi-use studio/event space, B_SPACE a 300 sqft 15-20 capacity meeting room and AnomalousHQ a six desk shared working office. Your duties will include the day to day running of these spaces, including administrative and cleaning responsibilities while managing existing in house clients and third party bookings. Additionally you are expected to manage all marketing, PR initiatives & diary schedules as well as working on business development to bring in new clients and opportunities.
This is a job that requires attention to detail, organisation, time management, clear communication skills and the flexibility required for working in a small company on a range of tasks.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities include:
Key holder responsibilities of opening & closing of the space and office.
Ensuring that the space consumables are always replenished, such as water,milk, tea, coffee, cleaning products, toilet paper etc. Order and maintain supplies without pause or client service interruption.
Responsible for ensuring that A_SPACE, B_SPACE and AnomalousHQ are clean, maintained and operationally sound at all times.
Reorganisation & basic cleaning of the space after each booking.
Making sure all equipment is kept safe and tidied away when not in use.
Manage all internal, external and 3rd party bookings for the space
Ensure all booking details and contacts are correctly input into our CSM/calendar system
Manage all emails, responding quickly and efficiently within 24 hours or less to enquiries
Manage the space budget sheet whilst being commercially aware of the monthly targets set and exceeding all sales goals
Produce & process all invoices making sure all payment is tracked and outstanding invoices chased with clients
Regularly check postal deliveries for 34/38 Pentonville Rd, arrange couriers and sign for package deliveries
Provide and maintain the highest level of customer service for all clients and guests by being approachable and friendly
Manage client expectations through regular & open lines of communication to ensure satisfaction and loyalty
Work with and constantly review all 3rd party providers and hire companies to make sure all booking requirements can be met and are arranged as needed
Provide effective decision-making regarding customer service issues.
Establish and maintain an appropriate Anomalous tone of voice (Anomalous is not aligned to any politics, we champion diversity through race, gender and personal beliefs)
Work with Anomalous Collective directorate on PR & Marketing strategies for the space
Building, maintaining and updating mailing lists & contact database inline with GDPR
Assistance with creation of online marketing including Social media updates & quarterly newsletters
Help to manage the Anomalous Space website & grow social media platforms
Pro-actively suggest and implement new pricing strategies when appropriate
Manage the office desks, re advertising when any are made available
Build & maintain a strong relationship with location agencies whilst checking regularly that information & photos on our profiles are updated
Set short, medium and long term business goals; develop and employ effective strategies to help grow the space
Monitor and report on competitors and provide management with relevant feedback
Hold monthly meetings with the directors to update on all aspects of the space performance
Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses to share, promote and collaborate on locally driven events
Specific Responsibilities include:
General studio reset after all events, including washing up, repositioning furniture and emptying bins
Replenish fridge contents and check cupboards for stock.
Minimum 3 social media cross platform posts (events, offers, recent clients, new features)
Empty bins & recycling (office)
Watering plants (indoor and out - this may require 3 times p/week in hot weather)
Refresh flowers (spaces)
Buy milk for studio & office (every Monday)
Clear out and clean both fridges of unused food/drinks (end of Friday)
Re-stock coffee, sugar & tea if needed (office & spaces)
Empty & clean ashtrays (office yard & outside space)
Check the 34 & 38 post box
Make sure cleaners know what is required for the weekly deep clean. Assess the clean on the following week and follow up if any issues
Creation of up to date contacts database, detailing all agencies, caterers, marketing, advertising contracts etc
Organise Anomalous Space laptop, dropbox accounts, listing details of where to find relevant contacts, information
Help to write new website text / photo updates
Create a Frequently Asked Questions document that can be included as a FAQS section online
Create brief EOM summary of turnover, bookings & expenses
