Job description
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced commercial Event Project Manager to join an innovative and growing, award-winning independent agency. You will be responsible for full project management, supporting the creation and delivery of a number of high-profile commercial events predominantly across the UK and Europe.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Managing client relationships
  • Delivering large, commercial events across the UK and Europe
  • Key contributor to project creation
  • Creating and managing the event critical path and documentation
  • Regularly updating online software such as CRM, project and accounting systems
  • Budget creation and management including invoicing and reconciliation
  • Venue sourcing, transport management, food and beverage responsibilities
  • Pitches and proposals to current and prospective clients
  • Effectively coordinating project coordinators and managing suppliers
  • Contribute to operational process development
  • Domestic and international travel

Candidates must have 3 – 5 years corporate event experience and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.  Account management is a key part of the role and therefore a flexible, personable attitude is vital.

Skills and experience required:

  • 3 – 5 years corporate events project management experience
  • Highly organised and motivated
  • Ability to negotiate with suppliers
  • Production Knowledge
  • Excellent venue knowledge
  • Experience of online software such as online registration and event apps
  • Exceptional relationship management skills
  • Creative yet commercial approach
  • Ability to think laterally in order to effectively deliver projects to time and budget deadlines
